My name is Kirk Andrew Miguel Monasterial and I used to write source codes for a living.
I maintain this blog out of my sheer love for writing. In fact, I've been blogging since 2006, but my love affair with creative writing has been on and off for the past few years. Don't get me wrong, though. I would have loved to write regularly, it's just that my current workload won't let me. I am working as an IT Architect for a multinational financial company. People say I'm a geek (or a nerd, or a weirdo), but in reality, I am just a very superficial person.
On the side, I do writing jobs - both paid and voluntary, so I get to reinvigorate my love for the arts every now and then. And since it's something that I do aside from my normal IT work, it also helps me keep my humanity in tact.
There's a lot to tell about myself, actually. But I guess, that's the point of this whole site. So, welcome, happy reading, and I do hope you'll enjoy getting crazy! =)
